Vice-President Verheugen at CEPS
On Tuesday 13 May, on the occasion of the second meeting of the Transatlantic Economic Council, Günter Verheugen, Vice-President of the European Commission and co-Chair of the TEC, will deliver the keynote speech at a special CEPS-SAIS Centre for Transatlantic Relations seminar on economic innovation. James Elles, MEP, and member of the Delegation for Relations with the US will give a first assessment of the TEC’s meeting results. During the event, Prof. Daniel Hamilton, Director of the Centre for Transatlantic Relations, will present the findings of his yearly Transatlantic Economy report, while Prof. Fabio Pammolli, President of the Center for the Economic Analysis of Competitiveness, Markets, Regulation, will address the issue of industrial innovation. The event will take place between 18.00 and 19.30 in the CEPS Conference Room.
